The Inn on Sheridan is a beautiful boutique hotel with inviting decor and spacious rooms. The staff was incredibly responsive, promptly addressing maintenance issues and ensuring that my stay was comfortable. I appreciated the lovely common areas, particularly the library loft, which provided a great space to unwind or work. Additionally, the included breakfast featured delicious options that set a positive tone for the day.
The surrounding area felt slightly unsafe at times, and there was noise from late-night drag racing.

Family with children paradise
The decor was cozy and the staff went above and beyond. Especially one lady, she was just joyful and bright, like the sun in my eyes. The food was very nice too, really tasty finger sandwiches that I didn't think could be that good.
It wasn't exactly budget-friendly, but it was acceptable.

Charming Stay with Room for Improvement
The beautifully decorated lobby welcomed us, but our room felt a bit dated. Despite that, the continental breakfast offered lovely pastries. One tip, be sure to park at the back to avoid potential tickets! We appreciated the friendly vibe, despite minor cleanliness issues.

We had an amazing time staying here with friends! The location was perfect, making it easy to visit nearby attractions like the Rec Plex and Illinois Beach State Park. The coffee shop had great breakfast options, and the staff was super friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Just a heads up, the shower curtain can hit your leg, so keep that in mind.
One downside was that the shower curtain kept hitting my leg—definitely a minor inconvenience but something to keep in mind. Also, housekeeping did not come by during our stay, so we had to ask for extra towels.
